Montrose Airport Parking Options

Montrose Airport is a small non-towered municipal airport located on the northeast side of Montrose, within zip code 81401 on the west coast of Colorado. Its two main runways are in elevation of 5,966 feet. MTJ is owned by the United States Air Force. It also serves commercial customers.

In order to take advantage of the Montrose Airport, there is a parking option at the northwest corner of the terminal parking lot. It is adjacent to the south side entrance and can be accessed from the terminal parking area through the southwest door. There are no parking garages or other facilities located inside the airport. The parking area includes an entrance for vehicles with a valet parking service.

An access road leading north from the parking lot leads to the terminal of the Montrose Airport. This access road passes over a bridge into the Montrose Golf Course. The golf course is operated by the City of Montrose and can be accessed through a number of entry points. It is the only public golf course in the entire United States.

From the access road to the terminal, there is a parking area with a ramp that will allow for access to the main terminal. The main terminal is served by a taxiway. This taxiway will take travelers to the Westin Hotel.
