Hibbing Range Regional Airport is actually a public airport located four nautical miles southwest of the downtown business district of Hibbing, Minnesota, in the St. Louis County, Minnesota. It was once known as Chisholm Airport or Chisholm Hibbing Regional Airport. This airport was first used by the Stearns Co. in the 1930s. A small airfield was constructed on the north end of a lake and the airport was called Chisholm Field.
