John Glenn Columbus International Airport is a major international airport located six miles east of Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It is operated by the Columbus Metropolitan Airport Authority, which manages operations at Rickenbacker Airport and Bolton Field. This airport serves direct flights to most destinations around the world. The main terminal buildings include four terminals, all of which are open and accessible to the public.

The four main terminal buildings include the John Glenn International Arrivals Terminal (which is accessible by walk-up access from the street), the John Glenn International Departure/Departure/Arrival Terminal, the John Glenn International Business Center and the John Glenn International Security Entry, among others. Each terminal has separate parking spaces for vehicles. In addition, there are ancillary facilities such as a ticketing counter, baggage claim, food courts, and a vehicle maintenance shop. These facilities are open during regular business hours.

The Columbus Metropolitan Airport Authority operates and maintains the terminal buildings, roads and parking lots at the other three international airports in Columbus area. These facilities are generally open throughout the day except when a number of local airports conduct their flights. The airport also maintains a central control tower, where air traffic and arrival/departure information are relayed to local airports.

The Columbus airport was one of the first airports in the nation to offer a new business class service, which was designed to appeal to the needs of major airlines that were serving the area. This new service was expanded to include the smaller regional airlines. The airport is also home to one of the region's busiest commercial airports. Airline service into and out of the area is available to all major carriers.

The John Glenn International Arrivals and Departure Terminals are close to downtown Columbus. The terminals are separated by several hundred feet of concrete walkways and ramps. These walkways are equipped with pedestrian gates and signs that guide travelers to the terminal from their respective terminals.

John Glenn International Arrivals and Departure Terminals can accommodate the seating requirements of about six hundred and forty passengers. The terminal features two full service restaurants, two snack bars, one full bar, an international snack court and a covered parking area. Parking is available for up to one hundred cars.

The John Glenn International Business Center is directly across the road from the terminals and offers meeting and conference facilities. These facilities can accommodate up to nine hundred guests. The John Glenn International Security Entry, located directly in the center of the airport, provides immigration services to all international passengers and visitors.

The international business center has a large business area, where business professionals can meet and talk. This area includes a conference room, a meeting room and a meeting lounge. The business center includes one of the country's largest printing presses. The lounge offers the same basic services that are offered at the John Glenn International Arrival/Departure Terminals.
