Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska is a large U.S. military base near Omaha, right next door to Bellevue, in Sarpy county, Nebraska. It serves as headquarters for the U.S. Air Forces, the 5th Air Division, the 7th Air Transport Group, and the Air Mobility Command. As the headquarters for the Air Mobility Command it is responsible for the transport of military aircraft to and from other countries.

The primary purpose of Offutt Air Force Base, which is also calling EAF Omaha, is to support the operations of U.S Army airborne forces and U.S Air Forces in all parts of the world, from Europe to the Middle East. It is also responsible for providing support for U.S naval forces operating in the oceans around the globe. It also provides support for the operation of U.S Air Force tactical aircraft.

The Offutt Air Force Base was originally established in 1947 and was originally intended to be used only by the Army. However, with the passage of time and technological advancements, it has expanded its operations to include the support of U.S Air Forces and U.S Navy as well. Today, it serves as the major command center for U.S. forces in the Middle East.

Offutt Air Base is located at the northeast corner of Omaha. The main airport of this base is named Omaha-Burning Desert International Airport. The secondary airport of this base is named Cedar City Field. The largest civilian airport in Nebraska is named the Northwest Regional Airport in Nebraska City.

Most of Offutt Air Base's operations are managed by the Air Mobility Command. The command's headquarters area is located at EAF Omaha. In addition, some facilities of this facility are located at the nearby airport, such as the tactical aircraft operations office. The command's headquarters includes a large parking lot, where many of the vehicles and aircraft are stored, including the MRAP vehicles, and other military equipment.

Offutt Air Base has a parking lot that can hold at least a thousand vehicles. The majority of these vehicles are located on the north side of the airport, where a large ramp can be used to bring the MRAPs in.

The Offutt airfield was first used during World War II, when the army's headquarters were located here.
