Cherry Capital Airport - Traverse City, Michigan

Cherry Capital Airport, a small public use airport located about two miles southeast of downtown Traverse City, Michigan, in Grand Traverse county, Michigan, is a municipal airport owned by the counties of Leelanau and Grand Traverse counties. It was originally built in 1954 for commercial purposes. Today, it serves several regional businesses and is known as a major business airport with a lot of activity at the airport.

The airport is not located close to the city of Traverse City. There is a good reason for this. The airport is not within the city limits, so any activity that may cause an inconvenience is not acceptable. If you have to stop at an area that is not within the city limits of Traverse city and you are flying into or out of the city, you will need to pay extra for parking.

When you are flying into or out of the city of Traverse city, there are numerous flights available to and from the airport daily. You can either fly in from other parts of the country or from abroad. Traveling through the Cherry Capital airport is a very enjoyable experience. However, if you are flying in and out of town, be sure to stay near the airport so that you do not have to worry about parking.

In addition to the restaurants and shops, there is also plenty of activity in the city. This includes numerous restaurants and bars where you can get a great meal, drink or snack, and even purchase some souvenirs.

If you are looking for some entertainment in the city, you can find plenty of things to do in the downtown area. There are a number of amusement parks and theaters within walking distance. Of course, you may not find everything you are looking for if you are traveling from Canada or England to Traverse city, but it should be good enough to provide entertainment.

Traveling around the city is a lot of fun. Cherry Capital airport is not located near all the attractions and sights in town. However, you can enjoy plenty of sightseeing and activities and it should not be too expensive.
