Ronkonkomah (NY) Long Island MacArthur Airport is an airport located in Ronkonkomah, New York. The town of Islip actually owns and manages the airport, which serve around two thousand commercial passengers every year, and also general aviation. Long Island MacArthur Airport (LIA) covers 9 acres and has two runways, one on Long Island Sound, and another on Queensboro Island. Many Long Islanders are concerned about air travel, because of the price, and the safety precautions that must be taken, before a flight is allowed to take off from the Ronkonkomah Airport.

IAT (Internet Airports Corporation) is responsible for managing the airport. The airport has been accredited by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). You may also find that there is a coffee shop located near the IAT main terminal building. This will provide you with a nice drink during your flight. When your flight arrives, you will be directed to a gate to board a plane of your choice. You may need to pay for this transfer. You will probably need to pay extra for the taxi service since you will likely want to get on the plane in one piece.
