Getting to the Bert Mooney Airport

Bert Mooney Airport is a small unincorporated public airport five miles east of Butte, in silver-spired Butte County, Montana. It's owned by the Bert Mooney Airports Authority. A short drive away is the Butte-Silver Bow Airport.

The airport is in the mountains above Butte, and it's a short drive from downtown Butte. There are no lodging facilities at the airport, but you can rent a car to drive to your hotel. There's no public transportation to the airport either. Luckily there is a train that runs through Butte for passengers that will get them to the airport.
